The Del Norte high boys and girls varsity soccer teams play at home today against Arcata. The contests begin at the high school soccer fields at 5 p.m. The boys are 2-1 for the year and the girls are 0-2-1.

Former DN FB player Larson helps his team (The Daily Triplicate)

Former Del Norte High football standout Joe Larson contributed in Weber State's 32-27 win against Sacramento State in Sacramento on Saturday. Larson, a junior defensive tackle, had two tackles and a sack for a loss of four yards, according to the Weber State athletic department Web site.

DN girls golf team has its best match of year (The Daily Triplicate)

FORTUNA ? The Del Norte High girls golf team had its best match of the year at the Redwood Empire Golf Club in Fortuna on Monday, with all the girls shooting their best scores of the year.
