The United Agribusiness League awarded scholarships to the following students: Nick Franscioni of Soledad, and Anna Gularte and Erin Metzer of Gonzales. Josef Gramespacher of Monterey High School has received the University of California-Santa Barbara Regents Scholarship.

At an awards ceremony June 24, Branden Karleen, a graduate of Palma High School, received $500 scholarships from the Bay Federal Credit Union and the California and Nevada Youth Involvement Network, a volunteer organization supported by the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues.
